New Moon is the true black daughter of an outstanding breeding between Sir Winston’s Sunstar and Jericho 691, both originally imported by Snowmass Alpacas. New Moon carries on the exceptional fleece characteristics of Jericho, who has the architecture and brightness found only in the black fleece of Elite alpacas. Jericho has had many offspring win in the show ring and while New Moon was never shown, she would have been a winner. On her dam’s side New Moon carries on the density, luster, and length that Sun Star brings to her. Her exceptional lineage can be seen in her first cria, New Moon’s Magic and we are looking forward to many more fine crias from her.
